Two Truth and One Lie

Rape is sin, rape is illegal, rape is fear, rape is heart-broken, rape is suicidal, and rape is

depression. How much more do young girls, ladies and women get raped? In Nigeria, sometimes the girls, ladies and women are blamed for it, so as the boys and men. You never can tell who is telling the truth from a distance but, there is always an end of the road. It now matters who gets there first.

In the Christianity religion, a pastor is a spiritual individual/disciple of Christ leading a group of Christians through the teachings of Christ and the ways of Christ. Nobody can be perfect like Christ but, if one is a disciple, one should be cautious regarding sin. God easily forgives, if as a Christian you surrender and ask for forgiveness. Human beings were created in the image and likeness of God but are not supernatural beings. The heart of a man is not as strong as God so as the Heavens is higher than the earth. If you hurt anyone consciously or unconsciously, asking forgiveness is not the end of the road. Find a way to bring the person back to you as a brother or sister in the love of Christ and

not hurting another. Busola Dakolo, the wife of a popular Nigerian artiste spoke on how she survived a rape ordeal of the founder of the Commonwealth Zion Assembly (COZA) – Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Mrs Dakolo voiced out in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, published 3 days ago by YNaija TV. Mrs Dakolo alleged that she was raped at two different times in a week, first at her father’s house and secondly in a secluded path on her way back home with him. She said the incident occurred before she turned 18 and she lost her virginity to him and this was before he got married.

Although, he was engaged to his current wife – Pastor (Mrs) Modele Fatoyinbo.

According to Busola, he convinced her with gifts like books and cassette tapes to encourage her to continue coming to the club.

Narrating on how the first incident happened, Mrs Dakolo said that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo came to her house unannounced. She was still in her night gown, her Mom and younger sister had travelled and were not present at the very moment.

Furthermore, she acclaimed he didn’t say a word forcing her unto a chair, speaking unto

command to do has he said, it took her time to come with his terms with was about to happen. That is why she didn’t struggle or make a fuss about it and he pulled her pants and raped her. Speaking further, he did not say anything after the rape incidence. He left for his car and came back with a bottle of krest, forced it into her mouth to drink.

Previously last year, Timi Dakolo had stated hints regarding rape without pointing to names.

The response was quite challenging which acclaimed ‘when your wife is sleeping around with pastors’.

Busola stated that Pastor Biodun told people they were both having an affair. The question is, why will a pastor be having an affair with a teenager while he is engaged to his wife? It is really absurd.

On the other hand, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo acclaimed it is false accusation thereby suing Mrs Busola Dakolo to court. He further threatened to sue his accusers as well. He stated “we will as a church pursue every measure within the ambits of the law to bring culprits to justice. Nevertheless,

Busola acclaimed he raped and told her she should be thankful she lost her virginity to him because he is a MAN OF GOD. According to Punch News “Mrs Dakolo is the second high profile person after Ese Walter to accuse Fatoyinbo of rape.

Recently, Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Diaspora Commission - Abike Dabiri-Erewa, sponsored the violence against persons bill which prescribes life imprisonment for Rape. Busola has other celebrities supporting her as well. There was a protest in Ikeja as well voicing against rape and premarital violence.

Popular Nigerian Actress, CEO Sceneone TV and brand influencer to an NGO named Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF) - Mrs Funke Akindele Bello, voiced out against rape and sexual violence alongside Timi Dakolo. Several other women voiced out being victims of rape by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. His lovely wife, Pastor (Mrs) Fatoyinbo is in full support of her husband claiming her husband has never raped anybody.

The bottom line is, it seems like it’s a world against Pastor Biodun and his wife. Nigeria is a lawless society. If things go out of hand, the worst case scenarios might pop up and nobody will like it.

Investigations are meant to be carried out first before anyone taking laws into hands no matter the level of status. If one does not belong to the armed forces then he or she is a civilian.

These two groups are not exempted from obeying the rules and regulations governing the country. The only supreme being we have as Christians is GOD and He is; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Biodun has denied the allegations, threatened and sued while Busola and several others have accused him of RAPE. There are two truths and one lie. Only one truth will be accepted the other truth becomes a lie.
